Cardstock turned flower

I'm been busy working on an old idea/project that I started before my wedding last year.  I found some gorgeous paper flowers and searched high and low for a tutorial.  I finally found this one and rushed off to find cardstock and make different kinds and colors.

I ended up making a bunch for my wedding -- in fall colors, oranges and reds and yellows and purples.  I've been using them around the house ever since :)

I had a glass domed cheese plate that I found on an outing and decided to play around with a new way to showcase the flowers.  They fit perfectly in the dome -- and immediately because one of the most popular items in my Etsy shop (www.flowerthyme.etsy.com).

Its a fun afternoon activity -- though making 200 takes the better part of a few days :)
